Town resident gets MBA from Park University

Park University, in Parkville, Mo., has announced its spring graduates, and among them is Arlington resident Chirag P. Patel, who received a master's degree in business administration in finance.

The list of graduates includes those from the university’s campus in Parkville as well as its 41 campuses across the country and online worldwide. The university had 963 students eligible to graduate. Of those, 214 students received a master’s degree, a specialist degree and/or graduate certificate, and 749 students received a bachelor’s degree, associate
degree and/or undergraduate certificate.

Founded in 1875 in Parkville, Mo., a suburb of Kansas City, Park University is a nonprofit, private institution that is a national leader in higher education.

In 2000, Park achieved university status and currently serves more than 13,250 students at campuses in 22 states and online, including Parkville, Independence and Kansas City, Mo.; Lenexa, Kan.; Gilbert, Ariz.; Barstow and Victorville, Calif.; Columbus, Ohio; Austin and El Paso, Texas; and 31 military installations across the country.
