The MassBay Community College class of 2022 has achieved a perfect pass rate on the national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist licensure exam.
Among those in the class is Megan Keeffe of Arlington, who works at Cambridge Hospital.
Individuals who pass this exam are fully qualified to enter the profession and work as radiologic technologists. In addition to passing the exam, all seven MassBay graduates were offered jobs in the field.
“It’s a proud moment for these hard-working professionals, for their families, and for us at MassBay,” said Karen Hansen, radiologic technology program director, in a July 25 news announcement. “This exceptional group of students successfully navigated both web-based didactic classes while completing over 1,600 radiography hospital hours during two years of Covid. They rose to the challenge of this unprecedented time in health care, showing tremendous perseverance and true dedication to the profession.”
Also in this class, including their hometowns and place of employment are:
Kelsey Champagne of Mendon, undecided;
Nikki Chin of Brookline, Tufts Medical Center;
Ashley Gorham of Upton, Brigham & Women’s Hospital;
Isaiah Simpson of Holliston, MetroWest Medical Center;
Jordyn Sullivan of Dedham, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center; and

MassBay’s associate degree in science, radiologic technology program is offered during the day in a full-time, 21-month sequence of five consecutive semesters starting in the fall; or as a part-time evening flex format of eight semesters starting in the spring.
