The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra is inviting the public to its annual open rehearsal on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 6:45 p.m. at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, Arlington.
The orchestra will welcome new and returning members for an evening of sight-reading a variety of orchestral standards as well as music from popular repertoire. All orchestral instruments are welcome.
The orchestra, led by Orlando Cela, plans to hold the rehearsal outside in the church courtyard. In case of rain, the rehearsal will be held in the sanctuary, and masking is required while indoors. Both locations are wheelchair accessible.
