StretchMed, a business specializing in stretch treatments, plans to celebrate the grand opening of its studio, at 801 Mass. Ave., on Monday, May 1.

The event, at the business across from Whole Foods, is scheduled to last all day and is free to the public, a news release said.

Planned are a ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, raffles, healthy snacks and drinks, and free stretch demonstrations.

StretchMed offers one-on-one stretch sessions designed to help improve sports performance, alleviate chronic pain, and increase flexibility and mobility, its managers say.
