13Forest Gallery in East Arlington has announced details regarding its upcoming exhibitions and events for July, starting with a one-day exhibition of sculpture work from artist Claire Millett Lima, Saturday, July 13.

Lima is expected to be present in the studio from 4 to 6 p.m. to discuss her art.

Lima is an environmentalist who forages organic materials to create her sculptures. Audiences can expect to see work in several different construction processes, including needle felting, sewing and fiber wrapping. 

There is expected to be refreshments courtesy of the artist served to those who attend.
